Frank E. Rankin, president and founder, has outfitted and guided more than fifty wilderness adventures, into over twenty mountain ranges, introducing numerous people to the wilderness experience. He serves as manager of the company, outfitter and guide. He enjoys many other interests. He has two grown children, and is otherwise employed as a business manager and consultant. Clint S. Mansker, CPA, is vice president and director. He has Middle Fork backpacks into the Titcomb basin area of the Wyoming Wind River Range and the Minarets of the High Sierra. He has also backpacked into the backcountry of Grand Canyon and Big Bend. His varied duties include acquiring independent audits of the Middle Fork books, and overseeing accounting. Clint grew up in the coastal bend of Texas, played football at Abilene Christian University, and currently works as a tax advisor for a Fortune 500 financial services company. Rita Atkison Rankin, secretary/treasurer, director, is a veteran of backpacks into the northern Cascades, the Wind River Range, the High Sierra, the Colorado Maroon Bells and the Montana Pintlers. She keeps the Middle Fork books. Her Arkansas delta farm family enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially fishing. Before children, Rita made a career as legal secretary. She currently works in the office of a nursing home, prepares tax returns in season, and has her own small business. She lives in the hill country of central Texas. |

Neal O. Moreland, Director, has over a dozen wilderness backpacks, mostly with the Middle Fork, into such diverse areas as the Winds, High Sierra, Colorado San Juans, Grand Tetons, Uintas, Cascades, Big Bend and Guadalupe National Parks. He also enjoys canoeing, hunting and fishing. Neal serves as Guide, special advisor, food specialist and is camp mechanic extraordinaire. Wayne Caldwell, Director, has fourteen trips with the Middle Fork, into the Gila and Pecos Wilderness area of New Mexico, the San Juans of Colorado, the Washington Cascades, Wyoming Winds, California High Sierra, Idaho Sawtooths and Montana Bitterroots. He acts as Guide, fishing instructor and cooking specialist. Down below he provides pc support, training and staging help. He also enjoys Nascar and RVing with his wife Terri and daughter McKenna. Wayne lives near Austin and is in the Risk Managment business. |

Troy Aucoin has trips into the Montana Beartooths and Utah High Uintas with the Middle Fork. Additionally, he has over twenty years of professional outdoor experience as a producer of outdoor television programs, a co-owner of a kids fishing/outdoor promotional program, hunting/fishing guide and dog trainer. Currently Troy serves as President of the Bulverde/Spring Branch EMS Board of Directors. He is the Middle Fork marketing and publicity advisor. Javier Rico has seven trips with the Middle Fork into the Mogollon and Black Ranges of New Mexico, to the headwaters of the Gila and Mimbres Rivers. He has packs in every month from April through October, where he has acted as Ramrod and special assistant to the Guide. Javier coordinates staging activity and runs the E-plans during season. He works in the insurance industry in San Antonio, where he and Matilda have three children. Javier is an avid Spurs fan. |

Wade B. Shelton, JD, Director, has seven Middle Fork trips, into the New Mexico Gila Wilderness, the Wyoming Winds, the Colorado San Juans, the Utah High Uintas, and the Washington Cascade Range. He serves as legal advisor and Middle Fork chief philosopher. He and Kim live in San Antonio, where he has a law practice. They have three children. Wade is a fan of all things pertaining to the Texas Longhorns. |

Keith Williams, JD, Director, has nine Middle Fork trips, into the New Mexico Gila and Pecos Wilderness areas, the Colorado San Juans, the Utah High Uintas, Wyoming Winds, Montana Beartooths and Bitteroots, and Washington Cascades. He also enjoys hunting and fishing in the Texas hill country. He chairs the candidate selection committee and is general camp humorist. He otherwise works as an attorney. Keith and Debbie live in Kerrville, and have two grown children. |

The “pride of Hamlin” lives with his wife Coleen and daughter Cynthia in San Antonio, where he manages an insurance agency. Mark loves the Dallas Cowboys. |

Grant E. “Tres” Adami III, JD, Director, is a veteran of nine trips, venturing into the Gila headwaters in New Mexico, the Colorado San Juans, Utah’s High Uintas, the Montana Bitterroots and Beartooths, Wyoming Winds and the Washington Cascades. He is an active hunter who grew up on a south Texas ranch, played quarterback at Texas Tech, and now practices law in San Antonio. Tres consults on standards and procedures for Middle Fork Outfitters. Tres and Tami have four children. |

Lamont A. Jefferson, JD, Director, has Middle Fork trips into the Gila Headwaters in New Mexico and Squaw Pass in the Colorado San Juans. He remains active in athletics after a playing football at Rice. Lamont is acting compliance officer for Middle Fork Outfitters. He has a law practice in San Antonio. Lamont and Patty have two children. |

N. Taylor Williams, JD, has Middle Fork trips into the High Uintas of Utah, and the Bitterroots and Beartooths of Montana. He has other trips into Colorado, and has served as a camp counselor. Taylor assists the Middle Fork in the selection of trips assistants. He grew up in the Texas Hill Country, where he learned to enjoy hunting and fishing. He is now a San Antonio lawyer. |
