Mission
Our Mission Statement: for strictly charitable and educational purposes, this company shall offer guided alpine wilderness backpacks to parties who might not otherwise get to go.
This service includes route selection, participant training and preparation, and day to day guiding of trips. Considerable educational subject matter is exacted durng preparation and on the actual trip. We afford specific support as indicated.
We are a gathering of otherwise successful professionals, with considerable backpacking and other varied outdoor experiences, who hope to help others find this special wilderness experience. We believe the Mountain is a fine teacher. We dedicate our means, resources, networks, experience and enthusiasm to this project. Meet some Middle Fork people.
What we believe…. The higher you go, the better the view. Everyone should climb a mountain. Everyone should own a garden bench. Plan your work, then work your plan. Everyone should have a favorte River. Work hard, play hard. Pay yourself first. Give something back. There are seasons and rhythms in nature worthy of understanding. Altruism is a good word. Go Higher. If a tree is dead in the fall, it will be dead in the spring.
